I grew up on a coffee farm in the Colombian mountains, surrounded by people who understood that growth happens in seasons, not overnight. That's still how I think about transitions.

I'm Leidy (pronounced like the English word Lady). I've spent 19 years managing risk across some of the most demanding institutions in financial services. And somewhere between the boardroom and my family's mountains in Colombia, I figured out that the same thinking that protects billion-dollar institutions can help real people navigate the transitions that matter most

My Experience

​

For 19 years in financial services, I've specialized in risk management across institutions including JPMorgan Chase, Capital One, Charles Schwab, and other fortune 500. I've built enterprise risk frameworks, navigated regulatory complexity, and led teams through uncertainty.

​

For years, people came to me, colleagues, friends, family, for advice about career moves, life decisions, and navigating uncertainty. I found myself having the same conversations over coffee, in hallway moments, through late-night texts from friends facing big decisions, and I realized that the same frameworks I used to assess billion-dollar risks in my corporate role could help women think strategically about their own life transitions. The same strategic thinking that protects institutions can transform individual lives.

So I started sharing what I'd learned from unexpected places: risk management strategies from ancient civilizations and fallen empires. Scientific research that shows how complex systems stay balanced. The agricultural wisdom from my family's coffee farm in Colombia, where generations learned that growth happens in seasons, not overnight.

My goal

Now I'm formalizing what I've been doing informally for years: helping people design strategic life transitions. Whether you're navigating a career pivot, a major life change, or a complete reinvention, I bring frameworks that move you from overwhelm to clarity. Not with generic advice, but with the same analytical rigor you'd expect from someone who has spent two decades managing complex risk.

You don't need permission to want something different. You don't need to have every answer before you start. You just need frameworks that match the complexity of what you're actually navigating.​

What makes my approach different?

I learn from unexpected sources. My writing explores risk management lessons from different historical events, strategic insights from science fiction, sustainability principles from planetary boundaries research, and leadership wisdom from Colombian countryside traditions.

Currently

​

I'm currently writing my first book, Life Redesign: A Practical Guide to Navigating Major Life Transitions, coming in 2027. I'm also developing my family's coffee farm in Colombia into a retreat space where ancient agricultural wisdom meets modern strategic thinking.

Mother of two daughters, each charting their own path. I run most mornings, it's where I think best. I  believe the most powerful insights come from unexpected places.
