My name is Leidy (pronounced like the English word "Lady"). I'm a Risk Management Professional leveraging my skills as a Strategic Transitions Coach

I study transitions through unexpected lenses: ancient empires (history), science fiction, planetary boundaries, and my Colombian coffee farming heritage.

My Experience

For 18 years in financial services, I've specialized in risk management across institutions including JPMorgan Chase, Capital One, Charles Schwab, and other fortune 500. I've built enterprise risk frameworks, navigated regulatory complexity, and led teams through uncertainty.

​

For years, colleagues came to me for advice about career moves, life transitions, and navigating uncertainty. I found myself having the same conversations over coffee, in hallway moments, through late-night texts from friends facing big decisions, and I realized that the same frameworks I used to assess billion-dollar risks in my corporate role could help women think strategically about their own life transitions. The same strategic thinking that protects institutions can transform individual lives.

So I started sharing what I'd learned from unexpected places: risk management strategies from ancient civilizations and fallen empires. Scientific research that shows how complex systems stay balanced. The agricultural wisdom from my family's coffee farm in Colombia, where generations learned that growth happens in seasons, not overnight.

My goal

Now I'm formalizing what I've been doing informally for years: helping professional women in their 40s and 50s design strategic life transitions.

Not with generic advice or motivational platitudes, but with the same analytical rigor you'd expect from someone who's spent two decades managing complex risk. What makes my approach different?

I learn from unexpected sources. My writing explores risk management lessons from different historical events, strategic insights from science fiction, sustainability principles from planetary boundaries research, and leadership wisdom from Colombian countryside traditions.

Currently

Developing my family's coffee farm in Colombia into a retreat center, space where ancient agricultural wisdom meets modern strategic frameworks, where women can find clarity through both nature and intellect.
